In our TV production companies in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki, we create and produce creative international and home-grown TV formats in a wide variety of genres, including entertainment, serial drama, factual entertainment, lifestyle, and much more.

To ensure that we continue producing the best TV in the region, we strive to stay at the creative vanguard, both by developing new, innovative hit formats, as well as by acquiring strong format rights for local adaptation.

Nordisk Film TV has now established an international division, thus solidifying its global position. The new division will boost the presence of the company’s formats in the international market as well as focusing on the acquisition of additional strong formats.

Creative Family Members

Nordisk Film TV has recently invested in new production companies that we believe will sharpen our competitive edge in various areas:

Respirator – creates comedy programs and formats for TV, cell phones and the web. The concepts target both national and international customers and consumers.

Drengene fra Angora – consist of Simon Kvamm, Esben Pretzmann, Rune Tolsgaard and producer Jesper Rofelt. The creative quartet creates comedy for TV and is exploring other genres in movies and TV production. Also, they will be developing new talent for the Danish movie and TV business.

Co+Tv – develops creative content and TV formats for stations and channels all over Europe. Co+Tv also develops “branded entertainment” in the shape of advertising-funded concepts for TV programs, web, cell phones and other media.

Substanz – creates and develops brands, ideas and content for a variety of media. Substanz also publishes books and board games in the Nordic countries

World-wide Success

Nordisk Film TV has a history of devising successful international format hits, including “FC Nerds”, “Sensing Murder”, and “71 Degrees North”, which have been sold in over 20 countries worldwide. We have also produced successful local versions of the hit formats “Who wants to be a millionaire”, “Farmer Wants a Wife”, “So you think you can dance”, and others.
